Hi {{FIRST_NAME|readers}},

Do you have 47 browser tabs open?

Three LinkedIn posts bookmarked? A half-watched webinar replay? Text files open from two vendor demos? A Gartner report you haven't finished? Someone's implementation case study saved in your inbox?

I know what’s going on…

You're trying to piece together how to actually succeed with procurement technology... and it's exhausting.

The information exists. It's just scattered across a thousand different sources, each giving you 10% of what you actually need.

What if you could put your procurement technology education on autopilot instead?

That's what we're trying to do with the ProcureTech Cup.

Every Friday at noon ET, I'm consolidating years of implementation wisdom into one weekly show where you'll learn how to make procurement technology actually work for you.

Let me show you what we're building.

Onwards!

📰 In this week’s edition:

  • 🎫 Zip Forward Is Here!

  • 📋 5 procurement jobs that caught my eye

  • 🏆 The Road to the ProcureTech Cup: Episode 4

  • 🌙 The ProcureTech Cup Is About More Than Just Finding Tools

My Best Linkedin post this week:

The ProcureTech Cup: Your Weekly Dose of ProcureTech Best Practices

Finding ProcureTech solutions is the easy part. Making them deliver ROI is the hard part.

You can spend months comparing vendors, sitting through demos, and building decision matrices.

But that's just the beginning.

Your real work starts after the contract is signed.

What Is the ProcureTech Cup?

The ProcureTech Cup is both a Weekly Show and a Yearly Event I created to help you succeed with procurement technology.

Think of it as a sporting event... but for procurement technology education.

Here's the structure:

"Regular Season" (Weekly Show)

Every Friday at noon ET, I bring you a 30-minute live show on LinkedIn and YouTube called The Road to the ProcureTech Cup to show you the “art of the possible” with ProcureTech:

  • October 2025 to April 2026

  • 25 live streamed shows

  • ProcureTech vendors come on the show every week for “real talk” about how to succeed with ProcureTech

  • Live Q&A from viewers during the show

"Finals" (Yearly Virtual Conference)

The finals will run in April 2026 with two streams in parallel:

  • Solution Discovery: Open voting for 50+ ProcureTech vendors on LinkedIn to find folks’ favorite solutions. Winners crowned by category.

  • Digital Literacy: Private 3-day virtual conference where the 8 "regular season" participants present one final time and attendees vote on their "Favorite ProcureTech Educator" of the year.

Why I'm Doing This

The ProcureTech Cup has a dual mission:

  • Solution Discovery: Help you understand WHAT’s available on the market

  • Digital Literacy: Help you understand HOW to succeed with ProcureTech

Last time I asked, here's what procurement professionals told me they need help with:

  • 58% want to learn how to build business cases for different types of ProcureTech

  • 42% need help with change management plans (internal and suppliers)

  • 33% struggle with fitting ProcureTech into existing IT architectures

  • 25% want practical governance frameworks

  • 25% need deployment planning guidance

In short: You already know the tools exist.

What you don't know is how to get them approved, deployed, adopted, and delivering ROI without falling into the 80%+ of digital transformation projects that fail.

I'm not just talking about WHAT the tools do.

I'm showing you HOW to make them work.

How To Follow Along…

Every week, a different vendor is coming on the show:

Each vendor will appear on the show 3 times throughout the season. They’ll walk you through their solutions while discussing the real work of implementation success:

  • Building bulletproof business cases that CFOs actually approve

  • Deployment planning that prevents expensive implementation disasters

  • Change management that doesn't make your team revolt

  • IT architecture integration that doesn't break everything

  • Governance frameworks that actually deliver results

You'll understand the technology… But more importantly, you'll learn how to make them work in your organization.

During the season, I’ll be releasing batches of tickets for the private April 2026 conference. If you’re interested in getting a mini-MBA in ProcureTech, stay tuned to discover how to get your hands on these limited quantity tickets.

In the age of AI, I believe a key differentiator is TRUST.

This format gives your visibility to the leaders behind these brands and puts their expertise to the test with tough questions.

How to Follow Along

Every Friday at noon ET, I go live on LinkedIn and YouTube.

  • I share the invitation to the LinkedIn show via this newsletter

    • Subscribe if you’re not yet a subscriber.

    • Click the event link sent each Sunday and mark yourself attending

  • You can also watch all the replays on YouTube

My goal is simple:

Put your procurement technology market research and education on autopilot.

Instead of scheduling 47 discovery calls, watching endless demos, and piecing together implementation advice... you get a structured, weekly dose of practical, tactical playbooks for succeeding with different types of ProcureTech.

The best part? It's live. You can ask questions. You can challenge assumptions. You can get real answers from people who've actually done this work.

It's not only about finding the "best" tool. It's about learning how to make your tool work.

Because the right technology, poorly implemented, delivers zero value.

What are you most excited to learn about this season? Hit reply and let me know.
